Monsters

About Monsters

Monster is a broad term used for the enemies that populate the Kingdom of Martial Heroes.
They can take the form of many things, including but not limited to: martial artists, bandits, animals, and mythological creatures.

Monsters are everywhere and dispatching them grants you experience, fame, and items.
They are also the target of many of the game’s quests.

Monster Types

Monster’s in Martial Heroes are assigned a type.
These types have synergies with the game’s classes and are more easily dispatched
depending on the class of the player.

They are as follows:

General: these monsters have no class-based weakness, are found commonly in the early stage
of the game, and are generally animals. Examples of these are Foxes, Wolves, and Cows.

Chivalry: these monsters are weak to Assassins and are your typical human type enemies.

Continental: these monsters are weak to Monks and Mages and can resemble General and Chivalry
type enemies. They are characterized by their unique attack styles and resistances.

Ghost: these monsters are also weak to Monks and Mages. Many of them are based on demonic
creatures from Journey to the West. They have very distinct appearances and abilities.

Difficulty Color Indicator

Monsters have a color indicator along with the monster type based on the difference between your level and the monster’s indicating the danger level when fighting them.

White: Too low, will get little or no experience.

Green: Easy to kill, but lower experience.

Blue: Same level as you, killed fairly easily. Reasonable experience.

Orange: Harder to kill but good experience.

Red: Very hard to kill, may not gain maximum experience unless in a party if it is more than 8 levels higher than you.
