Martial Heroes Guide

Fame

About Fame

In the vast martial realm, a wandering hero’s reputation is a reflection of their honor and status, shaped by their actions and deeds.

As a hero gains Fame, they will reach certain thresholds, earning prestigious titles that signify their accomplishments.

How to Gain Fame

Hunting monsters: There is a chance to gain Fame while defeating ordinary monsters.

Helping fellow martial artists: Assisting others or completing noble deeds can increase Fame.

Events & Special Maps: Various events and periodically opened event maps also provide opportunities to earn Fame.

Defeating notorious criminals: Bringing justice to infamous figures in the martial world rewards Fame.

Decreasing Fame

Leaving or disbanding a guild results in a loss of Fame.

Killing innocent people reduces Fame significantly.

Losing in faction wars: If you fall in battle against an opposing faction in a Lawful vs. Evil war, your Fame will decrease.

Performing acts of atonement: If you accumulate negative karma, you can visit an NPC to atone for your sins, but this will also reduce your Fame.

Using Fame

Donating Fame to a Guild: You can contribute your Fame to support your guild.

Receiving Buffs: Fame can be spent to obtain powerful buffs from special NPCs.

To receive buffs, visit the Buffs Vendor, located next to the Valley Village Smithy, and exchange Fame for powerful buffs.

Nickname

You will be given a title according to your level of fame depending on whether you are a part of the Lawful or Evil faction.
